I painted a Dr. Seuss mural on my son's walls before he was born...

We rent the place we are presently at so the only color added to the walls is what the little ones did with their crayons! :0 ;)
I love murals and would do a fairy themed one for my girl and a woodsy one for my boy...the two little ones that is. The older two share a room here with me and are too diverse in personality to have a cooperative decoartive effort. At their dad's place where they have their own rooms, one(the guitarist) has gone for 70's retro and the other (the gamer)has gone for futuristic look. Praise Him and Peace Out!

I love the Dr Suess!
For my son's 4th birthday, we took out the toddler bed and re-did his room all in trains while he was at preschool. http://cu.imt.net/~melissas/portfolio/mural_train.html |

I would paint murals in the rooms of all children if given a chance. My mother put one on the wall when I was a kid and it was the best memory. Now I am a muralist....go figure.

sure, i would. i ended up deciding to just do the ceiling with clouds shaped like animals. i think it could be beautiful. i don't go in for the prefabs or disney stuff, but a nature or fantasy scene would be awesome.
