My daughter is signing a letter of intent!!!!

OMG, this stuff is so new to me!!! Not the softball stuff but the college stuff!!! We will be having her signing this Friday for her to play College Softball at Bacone College. I am scared, proud,excited, nervous, proud, scared, happy, anxious, oh and did I say proud and scared!!!! LOL

 I wil try to post a pic or two as soon as I can!!!!

THAT'S SO EXCITING!!! That's what every mom/ dad looks forward to when they spend night after night training with their kids. I found a really motivating video of Jennie Finch and she's talking about the life that softball gave her... since my 7 yr old has seen it she is more and more motivated to play throughout the future!!! It's so exciting watching them grow-up in the game. Seems like just yesterday she was signed up for t-ball... that was almost 5 years ago... it goes by so fast!!!!

We toured the campus at Bacone and worked out with the team a few weeks ago and Coach Davis offered my DD a place on the team, but she's decided to go a different direction. I will tell ya, though, that turning down Bacone was an incredibly difficult decision for her because Coach Davis is building an incredible program there in Muskogee!!! Good Luck to her! Who does she play summer ball with?

My daughter is signing tomorrow afternoon with Haskell Indian Nations University in Lawrence, KS. And both my girls play for Titanium Elite (18U and Gold).

She isnt playing with anyone yet. That is what we are in the process of doing is finding her a team to do some tournies with that might be somewhat local. This area just really sucks at turning out any teams over 16u. Most of them play with their school teams til senior year and then just give up!!!! We have a few emails out and are hoping to hear something soon.

She is real excited about Baccone and really likes coach Davis. I am really hoping she will get back to being as dedicated as she was a few years ago!!!!
