 lol kinda like when I pulled out my records 45's and albums and my turntable.  Dd was like cooool LOL...but didn't get how it worked.

I'm proud to say my record collection has inspired my close friend's dear sweet 16 year old daughter to get a record player. We go hunting for records together now. She loves soundtracks especially. She found Pretty in Pink for me :)

That's so cool!  She obviously understands the value of history.

I have an ancient Victrola and 78's.  The sound gives you goosebumps.  I hope she gets the same reaction from the record player!

I was looking at one of my Cars albums and my son goes "OMG! Mom has a crush on dead people!" lol because that's how old he thinks they must be.

I swear, one of these days I'm going to figure out, or have dh figure out, how to hook my Atari 2600 up so I can finally beat my kids at a video game!

A few weeks ago, I kicked ds1's butt at Pac-Man in a campground arcade : )
