Kevin is 19 months and is in half day daycare.  He no longer gets a morning nap at daycare, and then my husband picks him up at 12:30 and he sleeps from about 2:00 to 5:30.  On the weekends, he is exhausted and takes a 2 hour morning nap and then his normal 3 hour afternoon nap.  His teacher told me that he has been crabby lately, but I'm pretty sure it is because of missing that morning nap during the week.  Now my question...should I try getting rid of that morning nap altogether on weekends too to help him adjust better?  He just gets so tired!  He also sleeps from 8:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m. every night....is he getting too much sleep?  Ugh!  Any suggestions would really be appreciated!

Wow! He sleeps a lot.  Aidan takes one nap from about 2:30 to 4:30 or so every day.  Some days it could be earlier or later.  If I were you, I would try to let him work himself out of that extra nap first.  If that doesn't work, start trying to do something new or different that may interest him enough to keep him up.  Maybe doing something like that will keep him awake to where he just lays down for his usually second nap a little earlier. That is the only thing I can suggest.  Aidan hates sleeping so I def. don't have your problem, lol....Good luck mama!

Oh, and Kevin is so freaking cute.

Well Cameron cut down to one nap a day in November. He goes to bed at 7:30pm and wakes up at 6:30 or 7 am. He naps everyday from around 10 til about 12.Then he is good to go all day without getting grumpy.

I would try to get rid of one his naps. Hope this helps.xoxo
