Hi there,
Well we are all son going to having our secod birthday party for our sons. I don't know about the rest of you but my little guy loves Mickey Mouse and I wanted to throw him a nice party with Mickey as the theme. Dilema #1...the cousins range in age from 5-14 -- so I need help with activies that will keep everyone occupied. Any suggestions?
Dilema #2 I will be 7 months pregnant with #2 do you think it will be much to pull this off for 20+ guests?
I was considering a birthday party at the zoo....everything is supplied, I wouldn't have to do anything...but it will run about $100+ vs. where I can get a lot of FREE printable things (incl. cake design, placemats, favors and so forth) for the home party.
Which do you think my son will enjoy more? Oh and by the way, I feel fine with the home party...it's everyone else that tells me that it will be too much for me to handle.
By the way....anyone else interested in a disney theme party go to www.playhousedisney.com/celebrations and you can get the same FREE printable stuff for Imagination Movers, TIgger & Pooh, and Handy Mandy.
We did Little Einsteins last year and we got a bunch of stuff from Playhouse Disney.
We aren't sure what we're doing yet, we wanted to do the Bounce House, but it's like 225 and DH thinks it too much. but everything would be done for us except food (we would bring pizza) and cake. I just don't want to host another one at my house, it was too much.
I think if you feel good about the home party, go for it!! It will be much less expensive!!
Sorry I'm not much more help!

We did Cameron's party at home last year.It was fine with me. We did the fisherprice rainforest theme. I had decorations that matched and had a cake made.(which was way expensive) but it was his first so bday so i didnt care. This year i also wanted to do Mickey Mouse. Not sure yet though. He also likes Diego. We re going to rent a moon bounce for the backyard, we also have older kids coming. They will come out and set it then come back and take it down for about 120 dollars. Not bad!
You could different games for the older kids like a scavenger hunt with easier items for younger kids and harder items for the older ones. Anyway good luck!
