courtney1610, delivered 27wk female, at baylor, and had csection...WATCH OUT!!!
this chick is a total emotional scammer!!! I've been in contact with Baylor, and we've confronted her about this, and she is NOT there, nor did Baylor in the last week deliver ANY baby that was born this premature during the last week. The ONLY NICU babies they had were twins, one set fraternal and one set identical.
I have been told that there are those out there that are what are called "emotional scammers". They just need attention, pity, someone to talk to...etc.
Please be aware of this. She is now claiming she isn't at Baylor when we confronted her about her lie. Now, she's also claiming I'm trying to steal her 28 week gestational age baby from the hospital.
I am a labor and delivery nurse here in El Paso, Texas. When she went into "labor", she said she chose us to be her adoptive parents for her baby. Then of course, her "aunt" said she died twice on the operating table. Now she also had a blood pressure of 90/60, with a pulse rate of less than 120. For having had several pints transfused into her, that would have been a physiological impossibility. So, I got suspicious.
When we started pressing her for just her last name after giving her identifying information about ourselves so that she would know we were real, she wouldn't even give a last name. I came upon a nurse at Baylor, where she'd been claiming to have had her "daughter" for the past 5 days. This nurse is also an adoptive mom, who is going through the same social worker for her homestudy as we did. We hit it off, and she confirmed for me that NO BABY was born to Baylor in the last week at 25-29 weeks gestation, and there were no babies in the NICU that fit the bill.
She did tell me there was a courtney there, but this courtney had no cellular phone, was married, and her husband was deployed. There is no computer in this mom's room either.
After all this, when she was finally confronted by my friend Rebecca, it was found that she certainly is not at Baylor, and she was scared that I'd come to steal her baby. Mind you, I had only been in contact with her AFTER she was supposedly admitted to Baylor.
I am not trying to sully anyone's reputation, but just wanted other adoptive parents to be aware that she is totally scamming people, and we were one of them. No, she didn't ask for money. No, she just took my pity, care, and concern which obviously she needed. Sad thing is, theone thing I have plenty of is care ond concern, and she got that for free. She didn't have to lie about it. She just took it. At least it didn't cost me anything. If you need anymore information, please don't hasitate to contact me at lisa_terao@yahoo.com
