We our waiting for the birth of our son that is due Oct 3, 2007. This is our third birthmother(the first two decided not to place). We recieved a call this morning from the adoption agency saying that our birthmother phone her today and told them that the baby is breeched.They are talking about maybe doing a c-section this week! We are soooo excited but at the same time very scared! This birthmother we were matched with three months ago. We took her for dinner and we connected! My husband and I felt really bad for her due to she is homeless (but since we were matched with her , we have been paying all her bills)and this is her fifth child in seven years she is putting up for adoption. All that she kept saying throughout dinner to us was , don't worry , if I say this baby I am giving to you, then thats is wants going to happen! She then asked what we were going to name him! I was so relieved. She put are mind at ease about everything. We left dinner that night feeling great and confindent! Well she called after every appointment for the next month ,then we got some bad news, She went to the hospital because she thought she was in labor and the hospital ran a random drug test and found cocain in her system........... we almost died when we heard this! Well to make a long story short , she was on probation. They put her in jail for vilating probation. She will now be delivering this baby from jail(at the hospital of course ). I am so concerned for this child! I pray he is alright! I pray she will go through with her promise to us! I just pray period! Please anyone going through a hard time with adoption, please talk to me, for I need all the support I can get and I am sure you do too! Everyone please pray for this child!
