Welcome to my new group!  I look foward to meeting new Aggies!  I myself did not graduate from Texas A&M, but I did marry an Aggie.  And the old saying once you marry an Aggie you become one is so true.  My husband graduated from Texas A&M College Station in 2000.  Before marring my husband I had always been an Aggie fan, but once I met him and married him being just an Aggie wife is so much more than just being a fan.  I have learned so much about Texas A&M and its heritage and most of all their traditions.  It is such a beautiful thing!  Well I hope that you enjoy this new group!

  • HI - I also married an Aggie - he did his master's and doctor at A&M, plus my dau is a second semester junior at A&M College Station, and my son hopes to go to TAMUG after he graduates high school.  I'm involved in the Galveston County Aggie Mom's.  This is my 3rd year in the group.  I do a lot of crafts, so if you have any craft ideas that you are willing to share, I'd love to hear them.  So far I haven't been able to go to the AGGIE mom sales in Reid arena in December, and I may not be able to do so this year either.  I just had foot surgery on the 24th, and I may have to have a second foot surgery also.  We will know in about 4-5 weeks.  But it is looking like that.  I had a neuroma taken off between 2 of my toes and we know I also have another one.  The AGGIE moms in Galveston county take part in the family weekend or days or whatever they call it at TAMUG, which will be Oct 18th & 19th this year.  I hope to be able to at least sit with my foot propped up and help sell our stuff.  then we also participate in a big sale at the Galveston Moody Methodist church the weekend before Thanksgiving.  This is a big craft sale type thing.  Then of course we do the one in spring at Parents weekend at college station.  I live in Galveston.  SO while I've been off my feet these past 2 weeks I've been working on a lot of crafts, reading, watching tv, getting on the internet, and having cabin fever.  I don't want to drive yet, and hubby doesn't want me to either.  not sure how doc feels about it.  He just wants me off it over 95% of the time if possible.

  • Howdy!  My name is Jenn.  My husband and I are both class of 2003.  My husband is from Galveston and I'm from McAllen.  We are currently stationed in Ft. Lee, VA.  He is deployed to Iraq, but I'm recording all of the games for him.  We have 2 kids, but I am a failure as a parent.  My oldest son's favorite color is ORANGE, haha.

  • Hi Jenn - I live in Galveston.  My Aggie dau graduated from Ball High School in 2005.  I guess your husband probably went to the same high school.  He would have probably graduated around 1999 or so.  Christy will graduate from A&M in Dec 08.  Just gotta love our Aggies - Geva

  • Howdy,
My name is Christy..I am a long time A&M fan..but (GASP) I married  a Longhorn! LOL, it ALWAYS makes for some interesting Thanksgivings!  We are due with our first in June..( a little girl) you should see the mixture of t.u and A&M stuff we have been getting..it is lot of fun.  I have also made Haley's piggy bank, it is half t.u. and A&M.  Since I am the primary one doing the savings for her, I get to choose the school...A&M here we come!  I live up here in Austin, but it makes it that much sweeter when we kick their butts the day after Thanksgiving..
