Hello Rocker Mommies!
I have a plea... I know its been awhile since anyone has posted so I hope you are all still able to read this. A few months ago (3 months actually) my husband lost his job... common place now a days... however it was only 2 weeks before we gave birth to our 2nd son and was completely out of the blue.
We ended up having to move out of our house and rent it out to prevent foreclosure (although... the renters havent paid us yet so that might happen anyway)... after being 3 weeks late on a car payment one of our cars was repossessed... we are up to our ears in owing money from backed bills as well as medical bills from having my son and from becoming sick shortly after his birth (I have pregnancy induced hypertension days after delievering him... I had that with my first son, but during my pregnancy... who would have thought it happened after too)... we owe ALOT of money..
A month ago my husband saw that our credit union was doing a video contest and the 1st prize is $2,009. We decided to enter it in hopes that we could win and use that money all towards paying off some of our bills.... to win we need votes!! This is where the favor comes in... could you please vote for us and tell your friends to vote as well??
Just go to www.wpcu.coop/pdvideocontest and vote for the video called "not another statistic"... the picture is my husband with a black hat on outside in the snow with his head low... we have been ranking 2nd place daily (they dont tell you overall where you are... but they do tell you what you are that day) and the person who has been in 1st has been there for several days now. The voting ends February 15th... you can vote once per day per email... so if you have multiple e-mails you can use all of those each day to vote!!
