About Savvy Christian Chicks

This is a group where open minded, understanding, intelligent (Savvy) Christian moms can come together and talk about our lives, ask questions, share tips and support each other in our faith.

We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God and that Jesus is our savior. Jesus was graceful, kind, loving and accepting and that is what we strive to be. We don't always have to agree with each other, but we always need to see each other through God's eyes. He is bigger than our differences.

We are committed to our families and want to find alternatives to physical punishment when it comes to discipline. Husbands and wives have different roles in the family, both are equally as important.

We are open to different interpretation of the Bible besides our own and will listen and weigh other people's opinions.

We also like to have fun and laugh at ourselves and not take things so seriously all the time.

Romans 13:8-10
Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for he who loves his fellowman has fulfilled the law. The comandments "Do not commit adultery" "Do not murder" "Do not steal" "Do not covet" and whatever commandment there may be, are summed up in one rule: "Love your neighbor as yourself" Love does no harm to its neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
