An Important Message to All Gratitude Group Members
First, I just want to let you know that I am grateful for each and every one of The Daily Gratitude Journal Group members. I appreciate you all, and I value the friendships I've made here.
I'm not a big fan of "rules" or "guidelines", especially when it comes to something fun, like a Café Mom group. I hesitate posting strict, hard and fast rules, so I won't.
Instead, I'd like to send this informal message as a friendly reminder of the theme of our group.
When I created The Daily Gratitude Journal group, my intention was to develop a group without drama. I feel we have succeeded with that.
My goal was (and still is) to help others discover the healing powers of GRATITUDE.
It's my desire to provide examples and information that will help others recognize how to be grateful for everything that crosses their life's path.
What has made this group such a huge success is: all of YOU, the Gratitudians (as we call ourselves). It is each of us sharing our personal experiences with gratitude, and reminding each other how to find gratitude every day in our lives, regardless of what crosses our path. (Having some fun, while doing this helps too, along with our contests and events.)
The Gratitude group will celebrate two years in October. I'm proud to say that I've never had the need to remove someone from the group for being disrespectful, offensive, impolite or rude to another member. I've never had the need to remove anyone from our group for any reason. And, I'm hoping I will never have an occasion to do so. Unlike some of the other CM groups, you will NOT be removed for not posting something in a certain period of time, as some group owners do.
Okay, so back to the purpose of our group.....................
Our group theme - GRATITUDE, of course.
All that being said, here's the reminder.....................
In keeping with the group theme, it is my goal that each member appreciate each other, and that each member maintain respect for each other's personal beliefs and opinions (regardless of whether you agree with them, or not).
The Daily Gratitude Journal Group is not a religious group. There are many groups on Café Mom, which are geared toward either specific religions or to various general religious beliefs.
I may delete posts that tend to delve into specific religions or refer to explicitly defined higher powers as being exclusively "right". I have respect for each of your personal values and beliefs.
It's important that each of us respects each other's faith, or lack of.
While a quote from the Bible or from Buddha or any other religious source, is acceptable, it should be related to our theme of GRATITUDE.
Prayer requests are perfectly okay, and are most welcome. The power of collectively praying or sending positive healing energy to one another can be miraculous. However, please understand that those members, who do pray, do not all pray in the same manner, or to the same god or same source. Some members might have no religious belief at all. This must be respected.
RESEPCT is a way of APPRECIATING each other, which sounds to me a lot like the theme of our group = GRATITUDE
With love ♥ and gratitude always,

Thanks for always reminding us to be grateful for everything that comes our way. Happy people are healthier people. :)
The Lord bless you and keep you! The Lord let his face shine upon you, and be gracious to you! The Lord look upon you kindly and give you peace! (Numbers 6:24-26)
I love this group Ginny and am grateful for you and all the wonderful ladies in here! I agree that we should always show how grateful we are to one another! In good times and bad times too! That being said, I am grateful for YOU!
Very well said Ginny,, I do enjoy being around happy minded people since they don't drag you down emotionally...And the more we talk about how bad things are the worst they seem to be....We all have our troubles,,,, everyone should take up painting..... your troubles disappear when the paint brush is in hand... Make it a great week..... Smile
So true Ginny , We all have are own way of how we consider to reach are inner self , Be it through everything you wrote , That was way cool how you worded every thing you wanted to explain . My Goodness do you have a way with Gracefulness in speaking what you feel from your heart ,, Hugs and loves to you and the Group ..
