I'm wanting to learn more about being a meek and quiet follower of Yeshua (the Hebrew name of Jesus). I have heard lots about dressing to show outwardly what has happened in my heart. I know of some moms who sew their own clothing so they have modest dresses to wear, and their daughters are not walking around half dressed in modern styled clothing either. Some of these moms wear headcoverings. The styles of those differ based on their understanding of headcoverings. I admit, I am VERY new to these ideas. I have only desired to exemplify this type of woman for a few months now. I have always wanted to be a graceful woman, but was not taught this as a child, nor do I have many mentors at this time in my life.
If you are like me, and want to learn more together, please come join in. If you are a wife and mother who lives this way and would like to share, please!!! come join in and share your life with us. Some other things we may have in common are homeschooling, breastfeeding, child training, enjoying organic foods, herbal medicines, allowing YHWH (God in Hebrew) to plan our family size, and being a submissive helpmeet to my husband. I am Messianic Jewish and worship in a local MJ synagogue on Erev Shabbat (Friday evenings), as well as attending an independent Christian church on Sundays. As a family, my husband and I enjoy learning about the Hebraic roots of Christianity.
