Now that the pressure of the holidays are off, I'm getting back into my pc. I was looking thru all of my patterns and it renewed my itch to stitch. I started a floral tissue box cover a couple of days ago. I like making tissue box covers because they are fun to look at and useful too. Anybody making anything in pc right now?
I'm working on a "doll house" of sorts for my daughter's birthday. Just hoping I can get it done in time. I haven't even started the actual house yet, but its a replica of our house, so I'm doing all the major furniture and such. So far, I've done the 5 people (gonna add a baby), our bottom cabinets in my kitchen, the dishwasher, stove, and fridge, (working on the table and chairs now), two recliners, a couch, the tv and stand, two bathtubs, washer and dryer, 5 beds, 4 tall dressers, and a long dresser. I still need to do my upper cabinets w/microwave, 2 end tables, 2 toliets, 2 sinks, and my entertainment center. And, of course, the actual house which will take FOREVER. And, I have about 3 weeks. I don't think I'm gonna make it. So, when I'm done with the table, I'm going to start the house. I'm hoping to have it done by her birthday, then I can give her the missing peices later as I make them if need be.
I have never taken on a project that big before! Do you have pics of what you've done so far? I would love to see some!
I'll take some and post them soon. It is a big project. I've been working on it since Halloween, but had to take a month off to do Christmas gifts. Now I'm back at it. LOL The hardest part so far is the tiny little drawers and doors and such because all the cabinets, stove, washer and dryer open, and the dressers all have drawers that come out. And them tiny little things are a pain in the booty! LOL
