This group has long ago been abandoned and forgotten
and I'm not sure why? I asked "CafeMom" if I could take it over if the previous administrator didn't mind because I would love to see it become active again! So if you are still a member of this group and actively visit it, please reintroduce yourself now. I'll even start the introductions.
My name is Mindy. I have 4 daughters ages 8-19. I have only been doing plastic canvas for about a year and half. But I love it and have already made many things. I'm currently working on calendars, tissue box covers and ornaments for Christmas.

Hi, I'm a step mom of 2 beautiful kids, and have been doing PC for about 10 yrs or so. My SS if hooked on PC ever since we did a family project for christmas ornaments last year. My SD is not very happy with it, she gets made when she can't do it. So I don't make her do anything with PC. I hope that everyone here will start repling to and or make posts.
Do you have any pics or could you take some of the ornaments you made? I love plastic canvas Christmas ornaments and would love to see them. I won't have time to make any for myself this year-but after Christmas is over, I'm going to start working on some for next year's tree.
I'll have to dig out the box in the attic to get to them, but they were real simpel....30x30 hole (7ct) , 10 hole down the middle (both ways), 2 colors of yarn...the 2 middle rows are the "ribbon" on the "present", and the 4 "corners" another color...I had them use the long diagnoal sticht...but as soon as i find the box( or should i say, have DH go up there and get the box...lol) i'll take a pic of them and post them....

Hi everyone!! My name is Adriane and I have 3 daughters. I've been married for 6 years now. I've been doing pc for over 25 years. I just LOVE it!! Nice to meet you all!! I have recently just signed up for swaps on different pc groups. (think I belong to 3 or 4!). But so far I really enjoy doing the swaps. Would like to see some going on here to.

Hi my name is Jennie. I have a 7 year old daughter and a 3 year old son. We are also expecting out third in June. I have been doing plastic canvas on and off for four years.
Hi my name is May. I'm a single mom of 3 children ages 5 yrs - 12 yrs old. We are a scouting family. My son is a boy scout, my 2 daughters are girl scouts and I am my 5 yr old's Daisy leader. So if anyone has any boy/girl scout patterns that would be awesome!!!
Anyway, I have been doing PC since 2001. My first project was an American flag pin (it was right after 9/11). I used to do x-stitching but it seems the older I get the more I get into PC and away from x-stitching. I've found PC to be a lot easier and less frustrating. And w/ 3 kids, I need as little "extra" frustration as possible LOL!!!
P.S. Congrats Mindy for taking over and making this place respectable and a place I want to come back to again. I never left here, I just took a vacation LOL!!!
