In May 2011 I had a tubal reversal..Unfortunatly the surgery left me with only ONE tube. My right at 6 cm long. Took 9 months to get pregnant and in Febuary 2012 we learned it was ectopic and took Methotraxate. Being I only had one tube and figuring it was a damaged tube due to the ectopic we didnt think we would get pregnant again. But we did the very next month. It was a chemical pregnany. And again the next month! It was a early loss.
3 losses in 3 months with a damaged tube. I gave up. Moved on with my life and tried to forget about the desire for another baby. Well I was late after a vacation in July and was having weird uterus pains..I took a test just to get it done and over with..A bfp!! After several trips to the er and seeing nothing on ultrasound but thickening uterine lining, even with a beta of 2900 :( On my birthday I went back and low and behold there was a bean with a heartbeat:) Great bday present! I am now almost 18 weeks pregnant with a baby girl we named Courtlynn!
So it can happen with one damaged tube. Have faith ladies <3
