Just wondering where everyone got their cattle dog. I got Journey by pure chance. I was working at a kennel, getting ready to leave for a dog training school. And I answeared a phone call for someone who had two acds and didn't want them anymore... I picked her up just 3 hours later.

Dh had a friend who had a blue. He always talked about how good and smart of dogs they are. So when we moved to a place to where animals were allowed the first choice out of his mouth was a heeler. So we started looking in the paper and found one for sale, called them and the man said all he had were reds. Dh didn't even know that they came in reds,so off we went to get her. There were two puppies left, one girl and a boy. The boy was in the process of getting his tail docked so we chose the girl and off we went. it was a hour drive back home so during that time we named her Misty.
