I am giving my niece (who lives an hour away) a home spa day at my house. One day away from her brothers - I'll probably leave DS over there that day - to include a nice long bath with no interruptions - homemade bath additives. Then a mani/pedicure and a nice long time on my massage mat that DS bought me for Christmas last year. It may even include a movie of her choice from Blockbuster Online and a cup of homemade hot cocoa by the fireplace (weahter permitting).

I am giving these card organizers to friends this year. They each have a set of tabbed dividers inside and a small collection of home made cards. Relatively quick and easy too. I got the tins from Oriental Trading for under $5 each. All in all I think it took about an hour per tin.

I don't remember where I found this but I thought it was really cute. I'm thinking of making some for the homemade candy I make to give out because all the stuff to make it is enexpensive at the craft store.

This is a great idea

I made these last year for Christmas, what a big hit they were. I found the glass at the dollar store and Terra Cotta pots I bought at Meijer. (Walmart did not have them.) All though the pot pictured here is bigger than the ones I used. I also made one and put dog treats in it.

I just met a new friend this weekend who makes cards for a hobby. She is going to love this when I show her!!!!
Hello all!
I am to finding it hard to be able to afford much this year. I am making a lot of my own crafts as well. I have these cute santa pillows and snowmen done. I also have some wood lathe stars which I placed greenery on them with little snowmen heads. They are really cute.
I make and sell some of my crafts but I do give a lot away to friends and family!
