At my church we set up a small Remembrance tree every year.  Everyone is welcome to hang photos of loved ones who have past away.  The ornaments are made of the ends of frozen juice cans.  This is a great craft because it can be personalized to include pictures of anything, even drawings.

Here are my ornaments:  My father, My FIL, and my friend (who we lost on 9-11)

  1. Thoroughly clean and dry juice lids
  2. Glue ribbon around the edge of the lid
  3. Glue or tape an ornament hook or unfolded paper clip to the back
  4. Glue a picture or drawing to the front of the ornament

What about the lids from the Ravioli cans they now have a tab on it for hanging just bang it flat and put pic and lace on it...

You need to be careful with pull tab lids.  Their edges can be very sharp.
