I have a 13 month old daughter and I think she's slept through the night maybe 3-4 times. I'm a single mom and work full time. My parents help me out once or twice a week by keeping her overnight so I can get some sleep. I am exhausted.
I usually put her to bed around 9:30pm - rocking her with a bottle. She wakes up around 12am or 1am - I give her a bottle - back to sleep. "Sometimes" she'll sleep until I wake her up when I leave at 7am. Most of the time it's up and down after 1am. that's what last night was.
My parents are in their late 60's and they get tired keeping her twice a week! I am a zombie. I have depression too and it REALLY makes it worse. I'm on cymbalta.

Hi my name is Adrienne. I am 22 and the proud mommy of a 3month old beautiful baby girl. This is my first child and i feel like i don't know what i am doing. Eva is a very good baby thoughout the 1st half of the day then she usually gets a little cranky in the evenings. She usually takes a nap around 11 for about 2 hours. Other than that she normally eats every three hours and stays awake for about one and a half hours then sleeps till the nest feeding. So i guess i don't have much of a problem there. At night is a diff. story! She goes to sleep around 7 or 8 then she wakes up at 2 and again at 5 or 6. I have researched some web sites that say she should sleep for 12 hours with out waking up to eat. I was thinking of buying a book on the issue. Let me know if you have any advise on a good one.

Hi, I am a first time mommy to five month old Hanna. She is as sweet as can be except one thing - she doesn't sleep through the night at all. She is waking every hour to two hours. She feeds (I am breastfeeding) for about five to ten minutes and then goes back to sleep until her next wake up. At about 5am I am so tired I just bring her in bed with us and she will end up sleeping until about 7:30. That is not a habit I want to get into with her but I think she has trained me more than I have been training her! :) If anybody has any help or advice I am so tired and desperate anything would be appreciated!!
