I had my baby last Sunday and have been breastfeeding a week now. When she first latches on it hurts! But than the pain goes away. How long does it take (if ever) for the pain to go away? Also she nurses 10 minutes...I'm assuming she's getting enough because she has a lot of dirty diapers!

Congratulations on new baby girl
It takes a month or so for the pain to subside. If she is latching on right it shouldn't hurt to bad. Being engorged hurts worse. Ten minutes is good
I would try and get her five minutes on each side at least so you are being emptied evenly. Keep up the good work.

My duaghter was born last Monday. They almost share a b-day. I've had the same issue. Thanks for posting :) my Hannah has been pooping so much. We go through about 6 outfits a day
