When can solids be added into a (nursing) babies routine?

My daughter Jaelyn is going to turn 4 months on the 25th. (Sept) & sometimes it feels like she isn't getting full enough. Or sometimes she IS full, but it's like she is looking for something more. something else. or something different. Her grandma (we dont get along at all) tryed to FORCE me to feed her a mashed banana but I firmly said no becuase of her age. She can't even sit up unsupported. : /  When would be a good time to start introducing solids? & when people refer to solids are they talking about GERBERS or like mashed potatoes?

Thanks!!

My son is 15 months old I started feeding him small jars of baby food at 4 months.

If you try this just buy one kind and stick with that in case of allergies.

I started him on the baby food bananas they say the taste is close to what breastmilk tastes like.

Yes I'm still breastfeeding
