I am looking into buying a new washer and dryer. I really want front load, hubby isn't sold on them yet. Do you have one and if so what brand? I kno w Whirlpool and Bosch are the best. Bosch to expensive. GE Carries one for around 700 to 800 reach. Does any one have a GE?? Thanks Kendra

Hi! I bought a front load GE washer and dryer set from LOWES 6 years ago. It was over $1000.00. The dryer kept breaking and really didn't dry very well anyway. This last time it broke the repairman said it would be around $250 to fix. The washer was ok, I guess. Seemed like it really didn't get enough water in it, though it could have just been my plumbing. Someone else had the same concern about theirs and ended up returning it. I am buying new ones now that I am renovating my house it will not be front loading. Also, it's difficult to throw something into the washer after it starts washing.
