I am started this group because I am an admin for the mom's of teens group and I noticed that mom's with truly difficult and troubled teens were not getting enough help and support from the other group where most of the mom's have never experienced extreme teens. We discuss tough love techiques and methods (we do not advocate throwing children out of the home or any physical disapline) in a private and intimate group where no one will judge how your child became the way he/she is, how you have handled it in the past, or why you sometimes can't take one more minute. I hope this will give those mom's truly in the trenches and feeling alone a safe place to vent, rant, cry, ask questions of other moms, share what worked for them, and simply be understood as mom's for whom things went bad.........but who are not bad moms!
