Well since there are so many new members, I thought it would be good if everybody introduced or re-introduced ourselves.

I hope to one day start my own business and if yhe economy and space permit either foster or rescue animals.

My oldest dd is 8 and wants to become a veterinarian and work with me lol. Ummmm... Thats it I guess any questions feel free to ask!!!

I'm Camille, I'm 24, mom to three boys. I'm an Army wife, a SAHM, a freelance artist, and a Mary Kay Rep. I am also mommy to two cats; A Norwegian Forest Cat named Boo, A Turkish Angora named Wookie. And two dogs. A Australian Shepheard/Boarder Collie mix named Jade, and a Great Peyrenees named Aeva (Avalon)

Despite being a military family, and having been faced with the choice of getting rid of my pets for sake of conveniance or cost, I have never done it. Boo has been with me for over seven years, and is my "Service animal", even though emotional support pets are no longer considored service animals. Jade I adopted over two years ago, Wookie I adoped about a year ago, and Aeva I got for my husband in March for his birthday. He's always wanted a "Big puppy" so I found him one!

All of my pets are fixed except Aeva, who will be soon.

In the past I've fostered many animals, inculding wolf dogs, pitt bulls, huskies, and even a semi-feral cat, who I managed to find a sanctuary for.

My lifetime collection of actual PETS ranges from dogs and cats, to snakes, rats, mice, guenia pigs, hamsters, and goats. and fish, lol.

Hi, I'm Erica, I live in PA as a sahm to two children ages 7 and 4, have been married for 12 yrs. and recently became a pet parent to two domestic rats named Molly and Alice.  I know what you may be thinking--"RATS!!!!"--but we've come to learn that they actually make quite intelligent and fun pets!! :o)

HI My name is Lori.I am 52 years old, been married for 29 years.I have 4 grown children,Michelle is 36,Lisa is 34 and Heather and Curt are 28.I have 7 beautiful grandchildren.Alison is 17,Melanie is 15,Daesir is 10,Hunter is 7,Justin is 4 3/4,Jade is 4,Samantha is 2.  I am owned by several cats, some pets and some strays/feral.  My pets are Salem who is 5,Domino,Callie and Smokey are 2.My strays and Ferals are Two-face(grandson named her),Midget,Chris,Whiskers,Greyson,R.D.,Angel and Diego.

My apartment complex threatened to terminate my lease for feeding the strays. My neighbor and I volunteer as trappers for an org. that does T.N.R. We got all our strays fixed, shots, treated for fleas and worms.Talked to apartment manager and I think they see that we are not the cause of the problem but we have helped. They even made 100 copies of a letter I made up and let us put in each mailbox. The letter told about the services our org. offered and that we would take their cat and bring it home.We asked everyone to please never abandon their cats for any reason(which is the reason apartment complexes have so many strays)We asked them to come to us for help before doing anything ,abandoning, taking to S.P.C.A.,etc.
