i've taken him into my home, given him the clothes on his back, the food in his belly, a warm bed to sleep, and made sure he was bathed regularly. Does he ever say thank you?
NO!

Cause this sweet face says it all. :)
Show me your adopted furbabies, and tell us what you've done to make their lives easier.

here is my baby, she's 2, i adopted her from the humane society when she was a puppy, she has a missing eye-no one knows what happened, her litter was abandoned and due to her eye she was the last of her litter that was picked, i'm ever so thankful, she's a full size lab and THINKS she's a lap dog, and a LICKER a big time LICKER, almost annoying at times-my other one (no picture on this computer) he's a miniture dog-mix between a lab and weenie---yeah weird looking pup.
we have 1 more-were dog sitting and owner abandoned-looking to rehouse him

My comp will not let me upload the pics, but we have 2 rescue dogs. One we got when me and DH were in high school. He's gorgeous, half black half white split face. He's a huge mutt. We had a DNA test done on him, but I swear he's none of the breeds they said. He was 8 weeks old when we adopted him (he's almost 8 now) and they said him and his litter mates were found on the side of the road in a trash bag.
Our other adopted one is a 2 y/o Catahoula. He's a pretty blue merle with a patch of white on his chest. Dont know much of his history, but we think he was abused. He loves our other Catahoula! They are best buds. Lol
my baby, he's a boston terrier/chihuahua mix. he was 5 months old when i got him as a foster from a rescue, dying from an upper respiratory infection. it took 2000 dollars and 3 months to get him better and now he's a big bundle of joy (who growls when he's happy and chews on fingers when he likes you)!
I have 2 doggies, the first is Brewsky he just had his 4th bday on the 6th and he is a Boxer mix. He is mommas boy :) We adopted him from the humane society at just 8 weeks old as his litter had been abandoned off the freeway in the middle of winter :( I couldn't resist him, there was a connection from the start.
Brewsky is a talker, and very protective. He tries to keep any animals (and people) from fighting. He loves to watch puppies on TV but barks and whines the whole time LOL It can get annoying but I wouldn't change it for the world.
I also have a Lab/husky mix named Princess she is 1.5 years old and we got her from my mother in law when her origional home fell through. She is definitely a daddy's girl lol.
Princess is a very playful little girl and she loves other people and animals, especially children. She is very smart but she still can be a little ornery when it comes to chewing. She loves to play fetch and keep away from Brewsky :)
If you can't tell I love my doggies, they are my babies <3

This is Rosie, my dh is a postal worker and he was delivering mail one day and when he got out of the truck he heard some whining in back of an abandoned house and found he tied with no water or food and sleeping in her own waste. so she gave her a milk bone (which he carries with him for his regular customers) gain her trust put her in his truck finished the route with her, when he got back to the Post Office called me. I came and picked her up bathed her, gave her food and sat with her the rest of the day petting her and talking with her.

This is Sidney, again when my dh was working in the Post Office a women came in to get directions to the city pound of course my hubby asked if she wants to adobe a pet and she said not that her son had a puppy and he had moved away and left the puppy behind and she could not keep it, so hubby asked if he could see it and guess when got a phone call to come get a new dog.
