Do you use them? What are your thoughts on them? How do you feel about people who use them?

I don't use them just because I'd feel too bad. I'd worry the entire time that my dog thought I'd abandoned her. :( I get family to dog sit for me when I go away. I don't see anything wrong with people using them, I just can't...lol

I'v never used them but I have heard good and bad from people who have used them.  I think you just have to be very carefull about the kennel you choose. Be sure to check it out first and get references if possible.

A friend of mine uses a kennel and loves it.  I checked it out and it's like vacation for the dog too.  There are some horrible ones too though.

Our dogs stay at the vet when we need them boarded. Nothing too special, but I am confident that they are well taken care of. The vet has indoor and outdoor kennels. When it is nice out, they stay in the outdoor kennel. I always leave their regular food with them since the vet feeds Science Diet (yuck!).
