Josh has been working so hard (upscale grocery store manager) He just had 12 seniors (9 awesome employees) graduate and they will be leaving for college the end of the summer. Sop this means he will be short staffed. He knows that he will be transfered within 2 months, but no one can even give him an idea where. He is stressed about the ministry work that we do and is feeling a little disconnected from our kids because of the amount of time that he spends away from them. He has "decided" that being stressed is not a way to live his life. He is excited that we get to go on a date on Wednesday, serve our community and people in need on Thursday evening and go to a birthday party on Friday. He finally has a vacation again starting Friday, so he can golf and then we are have friends coming over for dinner on Saturday. With Sunday being Father's Day, I think all of this is all a perfect begining to 10 days of vacation for him. Next week is our 14th anniversary and my bday, and we are leaving for up north again (4 1/2 days) He never ceases to amaze me. When I am stressed, I freak out, when he is stressed, he works through it and decides that stress is just not worth it. I think there is a thing or two that I could stand to learn from my wonderful husband! :)

What a wonderful time it sounds like you will both have!
My DH gets stressed out, and just sort of shuts down, which stresses me out even more! Then, instead of helping him not feel so stressed, I just have to wonder what's wrong. I've tried telling him all of this, but he still seems to think that somehow he's protecting me by not sharing the stress with me!?!? Oh well, at least his heart is in the right place!
Have a great vacation. I sure wish I could get hubby to take one. He's taking July 3rd off, and maybe the 2nd too. He wants to take our kids and nephews camping. At least that's a start!
