• Hello my name is Keisha and Im a Senior Consultant with Pure Romance.  I started this business because I wanted to work for myself.  I decided to "Fun Parties" because it was something that interested me.  Once in the business I realized that it was mre than just "Toys".  I enjoy meeting woman from all walks of life.  I like the fact that we can get together as woman and have fun and be educated all at the same time.  My biggest challenge at the moment is getting over the stigmatism of the nature of business.  Some of the people I come across seem to think that all I do is sell sex toys and teach woman to be "nasty".   When infact 85% of my customers are married or in a long term relationship and just want to figure out ways to spice up their relationship and bedroom.   I find myself explainin all the time what I do and what my Pure Romance stands for.  Thanks for reading

  My name is Marlena and I am originally from Chicago IL, currently residing in the Western Suburb of Lombard IL.

  
  

  I recently started Elegant Endeavors Event Planning & Design,  a full service event planning company that also specializes in weddings. 

  The primary reason I chose to be a business owner is to be in control of my life.  Aside from loving the daily responsibilities of owning your own business, I love to materialize someone's ideal (dream) event into a present reality.

  My biggest challenge is time.  I am currently a full time employee as well as a single mom and until my business can comfortably sustain my lifestyle, I find it very difficult to find the time to do all the things I need to reach my set goals.

  I do know that hard work now will pay off in the end! I will continue to dream with my eyes open!

• Hi, my name is Stephanie.  I live in NC.  The name of my business is Trinity Therapy Services and I provide occupational therapy services to children and I teach CPR and First-Aid classes.

  I started my business because I love children and I wanted to make a difference in the lives of children with disabilities and their families.  Also, I started my business because I got tired of the company politics.  I wanted to put quality back in therapy amd I wanted to do a joy that I enjoy doing.

  The trouble that I am having right now is how to make my business grow and compete with large companies that have been in business for years.  I am currently working full-time and going to school and running my business part-time.
