Hi, I created this group, because I'd love to have others to wait with;  )

There are other awesome adoption groups, but none for those of us who are waiting. When I was still TTC, I loved going to all of the groups but now I don't really belong there. And I miss all the fun and support.

I'm trying to let everyone know about this group and please let anyone who might be interested know.

My DH is finally on board with adoption.  I have wanted to move forward, but he has been holding back, waiting and wanting IF treatments to work.  But now he is on board, and told me he wants to move forward.  I told him given our ages and issues, whether we can havea bio child or not, we should still move forward with adoption, because we want more than one child.

So.  I don't know if I am technically "waiting", because the agency we will work with won't work with us until we have been married 3 years, and that's in May.  We're going with them because they are a Jewish Agency and I know the Office Manager.  I'm going to ask her about us getting started now, because I'm kinda thinking we should start with another agency at getting the homestudy done, so we'll be ahead of the game come May.

My DH and I are currently hoping to adopt domestically.  We have been waiting for 13 months and have had 1 failed match.

Hopefully we will get to know each other and get each other through this difficult time.
