A little bit of my story.....our story (my husband and myself)
Since I remember I always wanted to have a lots of kids. When I was 17 years old,( young and restless), always talk about the same thing, with my cousins, friends and to my parents.
First, I dedicate myself on getting a good education, I wanted to be a professional, a good role model for my kids.
After graduating from high school at 16 head right away to the university, couple of years later end up with my major in School Psychology (always wanted to be surrounded by kids).
My first job, as a young adult (I was 21) can't be in any other place than a school. YES, a pre-school. I was a Montessori Guide...
Later on, a larger school, I was a Kindergarten teacher.
Meanwhile, still thinking about having my own children. Years passed and nothing happen, NO children.
After, trying fertility treatments, 9 IUI's no luck.
Then I focused myself on getting my Master Degree, which I got it from Salamanca University (Spain). And still childless.....
NOW, we (my husband Manny and myself), have decided for adoption....to suddenly realize that it's harder than we ever thought!
Agency FEES are scary, they really are!! (Booo)
We, deeply, in our hearts, still have hope for a "birth-mother" to contact us thru this wonderful and supportive website.
We're open to an OPEN(sorry about the redundancy) adoption and any gender.
We are fully bilinguals, Spanish and English, for sure the baby will speak both fluently and also French (my mom is a French teacher). We enjoy classical music, Irish music as well as country music.
The baby will have a very large family, all over the world (lol), seriously, we're talking about Dominican Republic, México, Italy, Michigan, Minnesota, New Mexico, Texas, Las Vegas and of course here in Ga. and where ever his/her "birth-mom" is at.
We are willing to invite the "birthmom" to our family, to help us out picking out name, and set up the nursery. All her hobbies and interests will be delivered on his/her daily life.
We're willing to meet with "birth-mom" as many times as possible (we would go to the birth-mom OR she will be more than welcome to come to us).
The baby will be encouraged to learn how to play piano (my mom is a piano teacher, too)
Will have 4 grandparents close to him/her, as well as, uncles, aunties, cousins and even a dog.
Ah!!??! Have I mentioned that I am a teacher?? Elementary teacher, currently working for a Public Schools System in Georgia. My husband is an Admissions Officer in a College.
We are a very close family, like getting together every weekend, calling each other everyday (several calls); we are not perfect though.....of course we have our ups 'n' downs...lol Everybody does....right?
Well, I guess that a lot of reading for today.....I would like to finish giving THANKS to everyone reading this post, even if you reply or not, but just by reading it will place me in your thoughts and prayers. Same way everyone here is on my thoughts and prayers.
Still have hope to be contacted by a "birthmother"......![]()

I'm so sorry that your desire for children has not happened. I think you are doing the right thing though. Get the word out and then just wait and trust the Lord to work as only He can. There are many children waiting for a forever family in the foster system. Have you thought of possibly opening your heart to one of them? What ever you decided for your family I do hope that you are blessed with your forever child soon. You sound like really good people.

Good luck with your journey thru adoption. We have adopted a little girl, now 3 years old (going on 13) adopted internationally and a little boy now only 5 months old, who is adopted domestically. I have a lot of experience in adoption and can offer help if you need it. I have some contact numbers and names for domestic adoption. Our adoption was the most amazing experience ever, we are so happy and fulfilled with our family. Please if I can help write back and I will give you my e-mail address. I included pics of my babies. Thanks a lot for your ideas and offer to help, Tammi. I will contact you.
