We have been waiting for 5 years to adopt a baby.  Our biological son is age 10.

It has been very painful at times because we have been so close to being picked .

I'm at a loss as to how long to continue our waiting.  God has been so very good to us with the birth of our son Nathan.   I really do feel He will bless us with another child.

Maybe we are just trying too hard to find that angel birthmom, that will let us be a part of her life by allowing us to adopt her precious gift.

  • Hello ~

Waiting to adopt is one of the hardest things I have had to do.  We have been waiting for 2 1/2 years, and wonder what God's plan is for us.   We just had a failed match, and we were so sure, after many 'almost' matches, that this was FINALLY the one!  It was devestating, but I feel as you do - God will bless us with another child someday.  I'm not sure how or when, but I think it WILL happen.   I am trying to remember all that we have been blessed with, instead of feeling sorry that this hasn't happened for us yet.

Best wishes to you on your journey!
