I got trampled by a horse yesterday!!

Ok, so I was out getting a horse to bring her to the barn and give her some oats. Another horse attacked her, literally and started kicking her. To protect me she turned and faced the other horse and tried to stay between me and the one attacking her. In the process, I got trampled. I went to the hospital today because she has shoes on and she stepped on my heel when I was trying to run and made me fall. They think I may have snapped that tendon that runs from your heel up your leg. Well, you know what happens when you get hurt! There goes your fibro into a full flair! So now, I am in a splint that I can't take off for 4 days and I can't put any weight on my foot. I don't think childbirth was as painful as this has been. But on the good side, I am getting pampered and waited on hand and foot for the next four days. lol I know that sounds bad but it is so nice not to have to stress over so much. I know I am going to worry because I am not up doing everything and it's not going to get done how "I" like it but I am going to do my best to relax. It's sad to say that this is a blessing in disguise. I NEED this rest in a really bad way. Am I wrong for feeling this way?

So sorry for the trampling. Hope your tendon heals alright. I would use this time of rest "any way you can". Let things get done the way they do you can fix it all later.

My chihuahua just had to have surgery for a torn ligament. Hope yours doesn't require something like that. So tell everyone you really need this rest to avoid surgery.

Of course any stress seems to bring out a flare. Just relax with a cold drink and the remote or a book.

Thanks ladies. I tried going today without my splint cause dh had to work and my son is adhd, my uncle is dying so my mom couldn't come and help and I think I hurt it worse. :( Dh is giving me hell telling me to stay out of the horse pasture but like I told him, I only have a few pleasures left in life and I am not willing to give one of them up.
