Although I am an Usborne Educational Consultant, I started this group to help continue to promote the love of books, literacy, learning, and knowledge. It is not an advertisement for my business. Working for a children's educational book company, I have learned quite a bit about encouraging reading, attending to special needs and gifted children, and just have fallen in love with reading all over again! I especially love to read non-fiction, but I believe all reading is wonderful for the mind and soul. Every child deserves a chance to read, and read about many things, because reading is fundamental to learning.
