This will be our first year keeping Passover. Any tips from anyone who has done this before?

Does that include the week of unleavened bread? Are you getting rid of all the leaven in your home? This year passover has really crept up on us. We are not ready for it! But one thing I like to do is place a red satin scarf over our doorway (on the inside) to remind us of the first Passover and Yeshua's sacrificial blood shed for us.

We cleaned the chametz out of the house, the best we could. (The kitchen got most of our attention, but I kept finding crumbs here, cornbread there, in different parts of the house - Yech!) And we had a simple Seder and a nice dinner last night, to teach the children what Passover is about. Next year, we'd like to have lamb and the whole bit.

This week, I'm not sure what we'll do. Do we do anything besides eat unleavened bread? LOL.. Will probably do some extra teaching on leaven/sin, and allowing YHVH to clean it out of our hearts.

...Is that about right?
