What does Shabbot look like for children in a typical Messianic congregation?

I am new to all this, and I am interested in knowing what a typical Shabbot school for children looks like while the adults are having their teaching?

Is it anything like a gentile sunday school for them? Do they teach the boys and girls together, or separately? Sorry if this sounds inane.

It depends on the Synagogue or congregation.

If anyone has an answer to this question on either type of congregation, it would be helpful. A little info is better than none.

Thanks in advance.

I asked LOTS of questions before I ever took my kids to a Shabbat service, I had been emailng with one of the rabbim there, he was very helpful. I've also spoken on the  phone with the receptionist there.

My kids are teens, they have helped out in the shabbat children's classes, and have gone to the teen group.

Where we have gone a few times, the shabbat service starts off with everyone together and then the kids of various ages are dismissed to their own classes. I don't know about nursery for the babies. I haven't taken my grandkids yet.

another one that I "listen" in on, online through PalTalk chat rooms on Saturday mornings, the whole family stays together for the shabbat service. I don't know if their Tuesday Torah classes are broken up into age groups. I  haven't done that one (i've been attending live Torah classes on Tuesday evenings)

Let the morning bring me word of Your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in You. Show me the way I should go, for to You I lift up my soul.

In our congregation, children ages 4-8 can go to a class, both boys and girls are together.  It is only during the sermon/teaching time, though, they stay with parents for prayers and Torah readings, etc.  The class is different depending on the teacher, but usually has some sort of story or lesson, and sometimes some songs, based on that weeks Torah portion.
