Pumpkins...

How do you all feel about buying plastic pieces the create faces that you stick into the pumpkins instead of carving them? I think some of them look really neat, but it kind of takes all the fun out of cleaning the insides out of the pumpkins and then carving your own face into them. I love spending time with my husband and son cleaning out our pumpkins and carving them. I think it is kind of a cop-out to use the faces. We did get a package of them and are going to let my son decorate the little pumpkin we got him with them because it is a really small pumpkin, but for our big one, we are doing it the old fashion way...

Well at first I complained when my hubby came home with those, but, he says you can still bake your seeds with the kids just after Halloween and now you can cook the pumpkin too instead of just letting it rot. And I did :)
