We usually put them up the day after Thanksgiving & then take them down the 2nd of Jan. My sister is putting their stuf up today! AHHH. Just wondering when everyone else put their Christmas decor up?
I usually put them up the 1st or 2nd weekend of November....but I made the mistake of having hubby put everything in the attic and he HATES when I put it up early and knows I wont climb the stairs lol So I am hoping to talk him into it by next weekend. Maybe if I nag enough!?!
I put mine up on Nov. 1st for one reason, its WAY too cold after Thanksgiving to put up lights. I did put up my indoor stuff early but I hate doing all the work to have it up for only a month plus most of my stuff is pretty fall/winter neutral and not so much Christmasy.

I usually put the decorations up Thanksgiving weekend. Then I take them down the weekend after Little Christmas (January 6th). I agree with what a previous poster wrote, about putting too much work into the decorating to only keep it up for a couple of weeks. So I like to stretch it out as long as logically possible. :)
