When do you put up/take down your Christmas decorations?

• Our tree goes up the weekend of Thanksgiving and comes down New Years dayish. I usually decorate around then as well :) Although baby number 2 is getting big fast so I may start earlier this year...any excuse to decorate early hehehe

• Hi,I put my x-mas decorations up the day after Thanksgiving and take them down that weekend after New Years.

• I usually put on the Christmas decorations the day after Thanksgiving and lots of time the decorations come down the day after Christmas.

• I hear ya. I'm 35 wks with my 2nd & my 1st was 2 wks early which would put be right at the beginning of Dec. I wanted to move it up a week at least but my husband still insists the day after thanksgiving.  Then he'll sit there & complain that I am not helping because I'm huge & ready to pop & have no energy and that he's got 100 other things to do & this is just adding to his list :oP

• I like to wait until December 10 or so. I leave my tree and Christmas decorations up until the 12th day of Christmas (January 6). I've already seen homes fully decorated and lit up at night in my small town. *sigh* I think I'll be tired of the holiday lights by the time the fat man slides down the chimney.
