Not sure if this is the best forum to post this in but... my grandfather passed away in March and left me a small loose pearl. I have been searching online for pearl cage necklaces to hold the pearl but can only find a small handful of pendants to choose from from one site. I was wondering if anyone knows of any jewlery sites that might sell these OR ANY pendant in which I can open and put a pearl inside. I have also found many round lockets but when opened have about 10 slots for pictures, they are not empty inside. Any suggestions??
Sorry hon..I have no idea..but i will help you look for one..do you like gold silver??.or does it matter?
You might be able to take it to a small jewelry shop in your town and have them make one for you..that is an idea..
I am doing kids homework right now, but after they all go to bed tonight I will look ,, and let you know what I can come up with..let me know if you find something before then ..
Sorry it took me so long to check this. I've been away for the holiday. I will check out that website though- THANK YOU!!!
Quoting soccerjunki:Hey I found one place called Oriental Pearls.net..they have the cages that you are looking for..I did see silver..I am not sure about gold though, but there were a bunch of pop-ups, so I am pretty sure that you will be able find what you need from there..
Good luck!
There's a party type company that has oysters you open up to find the pearl, and then you can get a necklace with a cage to put it in.
My mom gave me one years ago (not sure where she got it, before I found out about the parties), with the necklace. I still have it.
Good Luck!!
