I am wanting to make my kids new stocking what material do you suggest, and what about a pattern

Here are a few that I have left.....just to show you ones I have made...I just use regular ol cotton fabric...I have a liner inside which is a soft white flannel...I just used a stocking that I had from the store and used it as my template...I laid it on the fabric and cut out around it...but making it a tad bigger for seam allowance. They are pretty simple to make. I have made Disney princess, Thomas the Train, Strawberry shortcake etc..

You can also google stocking pattern or template...

I used leftover denim to make ours with a template I got online, but DH says I'm weird LOL
