puppets?

i'm thinking about making a puppet theater for my kids for christmas, which is pretty easy for me.  but i'm having a tough time with the actual puppets.  does anyone here make them or know of an easy pattern?

I'm doing a bunch like these for my son as a christmas gift.  Just type in pipe cleaner puppets and you'll have several options.

thank you for that.  i'm sort of looking more towards hand puppets though.   these would be really great for a tabletop version.  very cute. :)

This site had quite a few links for hand puppet patterns. http://www.teacherhelp.org/puppets.htm#hand They all seem to have the same basic body shape and then it's just the added pieces that turn it into whatever animal/person you want. You could probably look at some pics of hand puppets and make your own pattern.
