I have not bought the book yet but that is because I am not fully convinced. Do the recipes actually taste good?

I havn't followed the recipesexactly from this book, too bland; even for my kiddo. I use the suggested purees and then adjust my own recipes to add the veggies. HTH

I think they taste good. We like the turkey chili one and the burger 1. the fruit yogurt ones are good my son totally loves those. When I make them I can't keep them very long.

THis has changed how our family eats COMPLETELY! We eat the recipes from Sneaky Chef and DD each meal and snacks. I have tried each recipe as the book says so that I know what it tastes like and then the next time, I tone it to our tastes. We tend to kick them up a notch on onions and garlic and such. We adore the Spaghetti Pie, but I did change it slightly.

I don't have time to type it all out now, but if you want the details, just chatter me and I"ll give it to you later.

I've noticed that my kids are fuller, longer now. And, I didn't think we ate "badly" before! smile.

I am fortunate to have kids that are good about eating fruits and veggies.  I bought the book (at Half Price Books) because I'd been hearing all the hoopla on TV and thought the recipes looked interesting, and I wanted to get more fruits/veggies into MY diet because I have high blood pressure.  We've only tried a few of the recipes so far (including the chicken nuggets and meatloaf) and the whole family enjoyed them.

Why not borrow the book from the library to see how much you like it?  If you only like a few of the recipes, you can just copy them down and if you like a whole slew of them, you'll probably want to buy the book.

I found it at Chistmas Tree Shops for $3.99 but I didn't think it had much variety and I don't have a food processor.

You can also make the purees using a blender or mixer.  Just mash down the cooked veggies with a fork, potato masher or pastry blender, then blend with liquid in a blender or mixer.
