I have a friend living near Fairborn. She's having some behavior problems with her 3.5 yr. old son and asked me about the possibility of a spectrum disorder. We talked a bit but she's still very unsure and worried about her son.
Does anyone know of any home intervention services or (non-psych.) clinics she can visit to have him evaluated and get some help?
Her hubby hears the word psychologist or psychiatrist and he flips out and won't allow her to take him. He doesn't understand psychs. do more than counsel mental disorders. I understand that he thinks his son is perfect and doesn't need that kind of help but the mom is very upset and in need of some help.

Hi my son is 3.5 yo and was diagnosed in June this year. I can relate 100% to your friend.. I live in dayton (right outside Fairborn). If you want to pass on my email or phone number let me know and i can message them to you. Around here it is so hard to find others that are going through this. Its like a silent "illness".
