My name is Staci and I have three children. Two step daughters, and one son. My daughters are in their early 20's and one has a baby. They live in other states so we don't get to see them that much. My son is 8 and his has a dx of PDDNOS, anxiety, sepration anxiety, oppositional defiant disorder, sensory issues and ADHD. He is also delayed in speech and school. I take him to speech and ot once a week outside of the school, and working really hard to get ABA in the home. I look forward to talking with people that know where I am coming from and maybe even going through the same thing.....
Welcome! I have a 14 yr old son with PDD-NOS. He was formerly dx'd ADHD, ODD, Impulse Control Disorder. A year ago his dx changed-someone finally looked at the big picture. We then discovered he has IgG food allergy issues that were contributing to his behaviors. Once they were removed he seemed to just blossom in school and made the B honor roll 3 times last year. He still has behavior issues, but they are much more mild and easier to deal with (most of the time). I also have a dd-13-with ADHD and an 8 yr old dd with thyroid issues and DIVA-itis...
Blessings!

welcome! i'm kinda new too. this group seems kinda dead, but i have had several mommies send a message or comments about their child/children. it's awesome to know there are other parents struggling to lead a "normal" life. as we all now know doesn't really exsist with our original children. haha i'm Jennifer and my son Bradlee was dx 2 years ago with adhd, odd, and pdd-nos. my son is borderlined pdd and is very high functioning in some ways. if anyone has any advice or needs advice feel free to email, comment, or talk to me here. i'm trying to educate myself as much as possible.
