I decided to create this group so Mexican Moms can discuss issues that are mostly only relevant to us. What food we feed our children (arroz con pollo anyone?), the way we raise them (will you tell you're kids about the "cucuy" you dreaded as a child), and even those "remedios de la abuela" we tend to share when we meet (yerba buena will cure just about everything-lol) . What language we teach them to speak first (english or spanish, does it matter which comes first) and such issues that I feel we have in common as mexican moms.
