Any fun weekend plans?

Since a lot of us don't cook on weekends I like to ask what your weekend plans are, but I guess I've forgotten lately! Tell me what's going on with you and your family for the next couple days?!
Now that my hubby is back to work I can go shopping again. YEAH!!!! Boy did I miss that! Saturday he has to work a 1/2 day, then we are going to lunch, then to a few stores...Hallmark is having their Christmas open house, Catherines has a bra sale, and we need some stuff from Trader Joes.
Sunday we are not going to church because the church is moving and all the nice comfie chairs are moved out already and replaced with small nasty folding chairs that I can not sit in for more than 10 minutes without getting a fibro flair, so we'll take a hymns CD in the car with us and have church in the car while we drive out to North Bend where there is an outlet mall with a Coach store. I've sold some stuff on Ebay and earned myself a new handbag. Also not far from there is Snoqualmie Falls so we'll take that little detour and go see them---and there just may be some snow up there too.
On the way back I have to stop in at the jewelry store for my wedding ring's bi-annual tune-up! lol. In order to keep the warranty, I have to take it in every six months for cleaning and inspection to make sure there are no loose stones. But shucks...that puts me righ inside the Supermall! What will I do with myself in there!? hahahahaha.
I haven't been out of the house in SO long and I really need this trip! :)

Sounds like you and I are having similar Saturdays lol. Bob is working a few hours this morning. I am doing a little laundry. Then he is taking me to lunch and we are going shopping at a few places. Gotta hit the book store. They are having a sale. Hoping to pick up a couple Nicholas Sparks copies I don't have yet in my collection.
Sunday, the usual. Church, lunch, maybe a nap : ) then back to church again in the evening.

Well,today is Mom and my little brother's Birthdays. So,i'm gonna have to find them something! Today,i'm free of all my kids so i'm going out on a lunch date w/my best friend Ashley! So,i'm excitied about that. And then around 4ish,i'm gonna go down to the lake w/the hubby and go for a ride in the boat.. Our high here today is 80!! So,it's going to be an awesome day!!!
Then tomorrow, of course we have Church. And the come home clean around the house. Get laundry together and do that. And take a nap and then before we know it the weekend is over!!

Sorry, nothing "fun" here. I'm doing laundry right now (which is how I can justify being on the computer, LOL), then running errands later. Family movie night tonight (not sure what we're watching yet -- something on DVD here at home). Tomorrow we have Sunday school and mass.

Well, Saturday we had church and then my sister and her family came over for her daughter's 14th birthday and cake. They left quickly because hubby brought home a new kitten after I had said no more pets and they didn't want to be here for the war. I've since resigned myself to its presence. Last night I worked childcare for the evangelistic meetings we're doing.
Today I am hanging out around the house and tonight I'm working the meetings again.

Well, I went on our church women's retreat. This is the first time I 've ever been on one, and it was so much fun and such a blessing to me. We just started going to this church in May because I was unhappy with our old church. I am so glad I found it. It's nice to have Christian women to talk to in person. We stayed at the Holiday Inn in Overland Park, KS overnight on Friday and had our first session, then a slumber party. We played games and talked and ate. Saturday, we had our next 3 sessions, and finished around 2:30. The theme was spiritual freedom. The speaker was our pastor's daughter, and she was very good. It was nice to get away from my family for a short time. Of course, then I came home to reality- a sink full of dirty dishes, laundry to fold, cats to feed, a house to clean. So, today I am cleaning house. We went to church this morning, and I am going to take a nap and then start cleaning and then do my lesson plans for tomorrow.

Oh boy did I have fun shopping this weekend. Found lots of gifts and I really lucked out at the Coach store. Got two for the price of one at Nordstrom.
The weather was too nasty to go see the falls though---it's a bit of a hike to get there and we didn't want to get wet.

i had a great weekend! i was in Philly meeting my nephew Patrick. he is adorable! on Sat we went to my aunts house who is only 45 mins away from my sister. my parents came from Jersey and my uncle came from Staten Island. it was like a holiday, lots of food and family. its time like that that really make me miss being close to my family.
