my name is marisela. i just recently had my first born baby premature. at 5 mo he was diagnosed with iugr and since then till i was 6 months i kept going back and forth to the doctors. i had 2 steroid shots and on august 7 was admitted to the hospital to be on fetal monitoring and bed rest. after 2wks and a half and a very hig preeclampsia i had my son on wed aug 19, 2009 . weighting 1lb 6oz and measuring 12inches he came into this world. hes been in the nicu ever since. he was on the oscilator for over 2mon. right now hes on a nose canula and feeding through his mouth. he needs a hernia surgery . hes 4lbs 14 oz and measures @ 18inches. he truly is our miracle baby....
Congratulations and I will be praying for your family, it won't be long until he will be well enough to go home.
Thank you, seems all he needs before going home is to be off the cannula, be able to drink a bottle on his own and his hernia surgery. we're almost there. we're hoping he'll be out before Christmas. it's been 3 months and a half too long .
