Reading material

Hi I just joined the group and I am currently 20wks with our third little girl. I was told I was high risk for a few different reasons. I did have 1st at 36wks and she was 6lbs9oz & able to come home. But anyhow I am fairly sure I will deliver preterm and was wondering if there was any books I could read or websites with what I could be prepared for.

 Hi my name is JoAnn and my son was at 30 weeks, he was 2 lbs 3 ozs. He is a healthy and happy three year old now. The book that helped me the most was The Premature Baby Book by William Sears M.D. Hope this helps if you have any other feel free to let me know.

When my son was in the hospital, the nurses gave me a copy of Preemies: The Essential Guide for Parents of Premature Infants (or Babies, I can't remember). Anyway, it's a pretty large book and I wish I had read it prior to my son's birth. It would have made a lot of things less scary. It's great that you're preparing yourself for the experience but I hope you don't have it! :)

Thanks ladies!! I really hope I dont have to go thru it either especially since the closest nicu is an hour away and I have a two year & ten year im home with who I assume cannot go into the nicu. It would be hard!!
