this is my daughter madison in nicu she was 33wks preemie 3lbs now 11mths june 1st will be one...






1st time in cloths 2days before coming home & first time in crib

my daughter on her way home finally after a month

my daughter now (her in may when the post was originaly posted lol)

Her now at 19mths after struggling for her life in dec when she got bacterial meningitis.

her in dec in the hospital very sick :(

and her now doing much better no dr thought she look like this today :)

This was the first piece of clothing from home Logan wore(a hat from ggrandma). He was a 31 weeker. He weighed 6lbs 9oz. Logan is 18 months now.

This is the most recent that I have on the computer. Obviously from Christmas :o)  Logan and big sister Kaela. He was 1 here.

Just wanted to tell you that your girls are beautiful!  My son was a 31 weeker too. Didn't look like it though :o)

I saw your post above and I though WOW that's a great weight for a 31 weeker, but then I was like wait I had three in me and together they were almost 10 lbs.  LOL!  We did really well for triplets, but I still beat myself up daily that I did not make it farther.  (I fell down the stairs, so I feel like its my fault they came so early).

Oh my gosh!  How did you fall down the stairs? I blame myself all the time too.  I didn't fall, but I was told to go on partial bed rest and try to take it easy.  The problem with that was I had a toddler at the time.  I went to the store and that night I had contractions again.  *sigh* I feel like I am to blame.

Ava ~ 4lbs 8oz 17.25 in long

The day my babies came home from the hospital...day 14 (they were on Apnea Monitors for 4 months)


At their 1 year old check up they were...
Aiden ~ 22lbs 30 in long
Ava ~ 19lbs 29 in long

Today...12 months old

Elliot is my grandson,  he was born weighing 1 pound 12 ounces at 29 weeks.  He was severely IUGR.  His cord stopped functioning and if the doctors had not discovered his condition he would have been still born.

This is him now - almost 3 years old and he is a whopping 23 pounds!
