Does anyone have any experience with the local moving companies? I am looking for a company that will just load and unload during our move but I am not sure what companies are legit but a decent price. I contacted 2 men and a truck and they wanted $800 to move just our furniture 6 miles. Really? So now I am looking to rent a truck and have a company come in and do the heavy lifting. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

We never used any moving companies, but I would think movers would only use their own trucks for legalities. Maybe hire some teens or 20 somethings to move in and out of truck. That probably would not cost a lot.
